Washington and Oregon States 15 and 16- November 13-16, 2008

I went with Mama and Dada to Washington and Oregon! This was an experience in the Pacific Northwest! I had a great time and have now been to the tip of the US on the eastern and western sides! WOW! Thanks Mama and Dada for showing me the beauty of the country we live in and for instilling in me a desire to enjoy the outdoors and and for adventure!!

Enjoying the Outdoors in Seattle!

We went on a long hike/walk around a penisula into Lake Washington. We saw some enormous leaves!! It was a 2 and a 1/2 mile walk. I enjoy excersising with Mama and Dada! At the end there was a park (of course) and I rode the swing, the slide and something new... the merry-go-round!

Starbuck's First House

We visited Starbuck's first ever house. There weren't any places to sit down, but there were lots of cups of coffee!! I like the decaf Gingerbread Latte (that's a Grande, non-fat, 2 pump, with whip)!!

Pike's Place Market- November 13, 2008

It might look yucky to you, but I enjoy that they let you touch the fish. They even throw the fish in the air. Grown men do it. I think it is because their Mama's aren't there to tell them not to do it!

Doin' the Outdoor Thing!

I visited states number 15 and 16 and I am only 20 months new! Mama says we are shooting for 24 in 24 months!! Kidding! I don't think any of us could handle that!! I have two trips to Florida scheduled before my 2 year new day anyway. That will jeep me plenty busy! We enjoyed some fun times in Seattle- check out some sites below!

The sign says it all!! The fun part was playing letter identification with Dada. I learned to point to lots of the letters!

The Space Needle- November 12, 2008

We had a fantanstic brunch way up high at 605 feet!! We saw all around Seattle and had a great view of Mt. Rainier. Apparently Seattle is the rainy city, but it didn't rain the whole 4 days we were there. Only 90 days of the year can you even see Mt. Rainier from the Space Needle!! See some of our fabulous views! See me enjoying looking through the telescope!! I think I could even see Matisse and Van Gogh from up there!

A Teenager No More! I'm 20 MONTHS NEW!!- Novemeber 6, 2008

I turned 20 months new today. I think Mama's worried that I am getting old and may have to starty using that "o" word soon. Doesn't that means Mama is really old if I, a little girl, am old!! Do you think that is why she refers to me as 'new'? I really thought that it was because I was her delicate little flower - new to the world! See us snuggling together on the nap mat in my room. I enjoy laying my head on a pillow and reading stories with my Mama!
Regardless, I am now in my twenties. For my birthday, I got some new fall clothes. I really need these clothes because we are taking another trip!! Mama, Dada and I are going to Seattle and Oregon! We leave just one week from today!! My parents are totally taking advantage of the 'lap child' travel policy!!

Had a ROARIN' Good Time!!- Halloween 2008

Kate, the duck, and I, the lion, threw a Halloween party for all our baby friends. We had 15 babies and their mommies, some daddies and nannies too! Fun times were had by all. We play with ALL my toys. There were triplet pirates, 2 Elmos, a train, a duck, a penguin, a teddy bear, a lobster and kitty, a monkey, Dumbo, a skeleton, and of course.... A ROARING LION!!!

A Litigious Halloween- October 30, 2008

Halloween was celebrated and legal action was averted at the law offices of Baker and McKenzie (AKA the balloon factory where Dada works). All the attornies and supportive staff (like Karen the superwoman who works with Dada) brought their babies and big kids to get candy and ice cream and cookies and mac and cheese and hotdogs. I had a little bit of everything and a lot of running around. I am the tiny lion who stole the show. I was caught red pawed at several moments with my paw in someone else's pumpkin. Apparently this is a serious offense and could result in serious penalties. Good thing I am well represented by counsel- who was by my side all evening.
