Santa HoHo!!

Well santa HoHo came to my house. I didn't see him because I sleep all night and he came while I was sleeping. He is very sneaky. Apparently moms and dads keep him very busy. He went to my friend Kate's house, but she was in New York so he had to circle round and go back up there to leave her toys. He must be soooo sleepy on December 26th. I hear Grammy talk about being old, but Santa HoHo is like 10,000 years old and he moves around the world REALLY FAST!! and carrying all of Fischer Price's 2007 toy line taboot!!

I hope your Christmas was as happy as mine and you wished Baby Jesus a Happy Birthday!

Fun Times

I still love Gymboree. I just got a promotion to Level 3. My friend Kate and I start our new class January 11. We will both be 10 months new then. I know lots of things now. I can wave and say, "bye, bye". I can clap when Mommy says, "Yeah!!" Sometimes I even greet Mommy with with claps when she comes in my room in the morning. I love all about life- except one thing. I now am getting sharp white things in my mouth. Apparently they are for eating, but ironically I don't feel like eating when they are poking me in the mouth!! I am busy preparing for Santa's visit and Baby Jesus' birthday. I saw Santa again and I told him thank you for bringing me my Grandpa Ralph, Grammy and Aunt Dizzy. All I wanted for Christmas was hugs and kisses and he made my dreams come true!

Aunt Dizzy- December 14-16, 2007

My Aunt Dizzy came to visit me. We have the same coat! A red one with a hood. My Auntie Jan gave mine to me. It was a fun visit. Aunt Dizzy brought me a Santa Duckie for bathtime. She got one for my friend Kate too. Kate and I have many of the same tastes- we both eat about everything we see.

Nine Months New- December 6, 2007

Happy Birthday to ME!!!

I got this pretty new dress for my 9 month new. No toys because an old man named Santa is coming in a few days and I have to help him lessen his load by taking a few toys out of his sack. I really don't need any new toys, but I really do enjoy playing.

I don't really enjoy eating. I weigh 16.5 pounds (10th percentile) and am 28.5 inches long (75th percentile). My Doctor says I can eat whatever I want- even cookies. I don'tlike anything Mommy tries me. I don't like mac and cheese or scrambled eggs, but pancakes are pretty good & I like Yo Baby Yogurt. Mommy is a picky eater too. I bet that is where I got it!!

Don't know what you expected to see here. Mommy caught the perfect shot of me crawling at the Wiggly Play Center. I went there with my friend Ashton. We used to play together at Gymboree, but he moved up to the Level 3 class. I crawled all around and had big fun. Hope you are having a fun day too!!

Santa Claus is Coming to Town!!

I met him myself. I am amazed by how red he is. I stared and stared at him. The other kids told him things they wanted for Christmas. I'm not even sure what Christmas is yet. I am busy trying to figure Christmas out? Mommy reads me a book about it before bed. All I want for Christmas is my Mommy and Daddy's kisses. We played kiss Addyson tonight and I giggled and giggled. I just wanted to tell you all to be nice and enjoy this very special time of year.

Football UCF v. SMU- November 17, 2007

I went to another football game. I went to the SMU v. UCF football game with my Mommy, Daddy, and Miss Aunt Sarah. Miss Aunt Sarah went to SMU and Daddy went to UCF. It was a really pretty day and an extra fun time.

Hello I Love You

Well, I finally have a free moment just to write a casual catch up. I stay so busy. I have Nursery time at church on Tuesdays and Gymboree on Wednesdays. We visit with friends and run around town to my favorite places: Target, Mall, Mommy pretty dress stores on the other days. Apparently, life gets crazy for grown talls in a few days. Mommy is moving things around in the house- changing flowers and building an inside tree? Do you have an inside tree too? So, I am taking advantage of just a "hello I love you" letter.

Addy Pi!!- November 9-11, 2007

Mommy and I went to her Addy Pi Reunion this weekend. There were lots of Addy Pi's there. (You can imagine how cool it was to hear my name over and over all weekend. I was really popular with all the current Addy Pi's they said I was the littlest Addy Pi of all!) They were all Mommy's friends from college. I played with Grammy a bunch. I even stayed up really late with Grammy one night and was sitting on the couch waiting for Mommy when she got home at 11:00!! That is my latest night ever. Mommy said my smile melted her heart when she saw me sitting there with Grammy! I hope the melting didn't hurt!!!

I'm Eight Months New!!

Breathe!! Inhale, Exhale.... Inhale..... Exhale.... Poor Mommy. She nearly lost it this month. She can hardly stand how big I've gotten. I am so independent now. I comando crawl with my delta force batallion throughout our house. I have many secret missions that include sneaking up on our Meow Meows: Sissy Brown and Brother Orange. Been Sick

Growing up is tough. I have been sick for weeks. The details are too icky for my blog, but suffice it to say I have had it all- sinus & ear infections, tummy aches, fever. Mommy and Daddy have been sick too. Daddy is still sick. Daddy cuddled me while I slept. Mommy and Daddy have been extra cuddly while I have been sick!! See me sleep in Daddy's arms. Look how sad and worried he is about me!!

Happy Halloween

Do you recognize me? I became a pretty pink flower. I wore it to Gymboree, Daddy's work & to see some neighbors. Mommy says I am a flower in the garden of her life. All my friends dressed up too. Kate was a cheerleader for some Giants, Tito wore a pirate suit, Miller was Bob who builds, and Lucy was a chili pepper.

My First Zoo Trip- October 13, 2007

I went to the zoo and all the animals checked me out. It seemed an endless parade of babies and mommies and daddies came to the zoo to be checked out by the animals. I saw some slimmy swimmers in the water- wonder if that is how I look when I take a bath? I met a new baby there he lives in a tree with his mommy and daddy. Peek a BOO

Okay, I admit. I have fallen prey to the timeless game of Peek a Boo! I think I have an addiction to it actually. I know Mommy says it is developmentally appropriate, but it is such a simple, simple game. I sure get to laughing while playing. Mostly from how it seems to amuse Mommy and Daddy- you think my expression is a riot- you should see theirs!! Mommy and I like to play with Ghosty (a present from Miss Aunt Sarah).

Fall Fashion

Duck!! Something is falling- or so I have been told. Mommy keeps saying fall should be here soon. I wonder if it will ring the doorbell when we are home or be waiting by the door because we were out when it was delivered? Apparently fall comes later to Texas than to some other places. Not sure how that works? You'd think it would come via mass delivery and would arrive everywhere at the same time. All very confusing.

I have all new outfits in honor of fall so it must be really special. These new clothes are mostly pants and are a little loose on me. Sometimes I wiggle right out of them.

I started a comando crawl yesterday. Preparing to crawl takes lots of extra food and sleep!

7 Months New- October 6, 2007

I had to move Mommy's fingers to get her to type this one. She says 7 months new is really a big girl. I can get most places I think about going by rolling and scooting, I can dig in my toy basket for something fun to play with, I can ride in my jogging stoller, I can use a sippy cup, I have eaten many foods. I can do many things now and I have even forgotten some of the things I know. That is proof that I am grown tall now. Apparently, grown-talls forget more things than they even know at one time. Isn't that silly?

Catching Up

Okay, You won't believe how busy I have been. Really!! I have gotten really, really tall. You probably can't tell from the pictures, but I grow all the time. See me sit up and play with my toys (Mommy puts the big boppy by my in case I get distracted and topple over). Miller came over to play today. See us play together. See me drink from my sippy cup! Mommy's computer crashed so I didn't even get to write on my blog. But I am back now! Sorry for the delay.

Walt Disney World- September 13-16, 2007

So, I took my first vacation. Wow, vacations are exhausting. I had to get up early to go to the airport to take a sky car (airplane). All the people on the plane looked oddly anxious when they saw me. Normally, I am greeted with grins and kisses, but this was a different experience. I did all my regular stuff on the plane: played, slept, ate, grabbed Daddy's glasses. I got my own special wings from the driver (pilot?) when I left. I think that means I get to drive next time. So, we got to this new place called hot and sticky (Florida). We went for walks and met some big versions of my stuffed animals!! White Rabit wears glasses like Daddy and I grabbed them too! I got a stuffed Minnie to take back to my house. See how we match in our pjs!

Guess who else we saw in hot and sticky! Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Tom. Poor Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Tom. They live in hot and sticky all the time. No wonder they like visiting me in Texas so much!! I also met Disney Aunt Jeni. I made a promise to root for the Longhorns in exchange for 18 years of trips to Disney World!! She works there and goes to all the Disney Worlds around the world. She sent me Marie toys all the way from France! See me with Jeni and Grandma Nancy and Grandpa Tom!!
