Road Trip/ Plane Trip? States 17 & 18 January 17-19, 2009

We got up early and went to Hearts and Flowers Airport here in Dallas (AKA Love Field). We flew to Lt. Rock and then drove to Memphis, Tennessee- my 17th state. We went to my cousin Kacie Dougherty's wedding. On Saturday we had great BBQ at the rehersal dinner.

On Sunday I woke up at 6:30 and by 7:45 we were in the car headed to Oxford Mississippi and Ole Miss! State number 18!! It was a pretty campus and we had a nice breakfast and I played at the park (of course). We also went to William Faulkner's house. Mama was really excited because he wrote lots of books, but they don't have pictures or fun things to touch, so I don't enjoy them too much. One of the books is named for my bad moods- The Sound and the Fury. See Dada doing the Addyson spinner with me. I love it although it makes me wobbly!

Then we went back to Memphis. Dada and Nanny and PopPop went Elvis' house called the Land of Grace while Mama and I took a cozy napper. That night was the wedding. Then Sunday we went to the Peabody Hotel to see the duck parade.

The Wedding (or Rather the Dancing) January 18, 2009

My cousin Kacie looked like a princess. She was all in white. There was food and dancing and cake, but the crayons they had for me were my favorite part! See me dance with my counsins and PopPop!

My Cousins- January 17, 2009

I met my cousins in Memphis. I have two second counsins. They are Kylie's son Ethan age 4 and Hannah age 2. We played and played at their Aunt Kacie's wedding. Kylie and Kacie are Dada's first counsins. I learned that families are bigger than the people you see everyday!

Festivus For the Rest of Us!- January 10, 2009

We had a Festivus Party at our house and lots of Mama and Dada's friends came. I participated in a Feats of Strenghts with Ashton and Elini. We had decorations out for all my favorite holidays: pumpkins and hearts and ghosts and bunnies and flags and santa came back too!

CHOO CHOO- Happy Birthday Miller- January 10, 2009

I went to Miller's 3rd Birthday Party (It was a Thomas the Train theme). It was a top 3 party of my lifetime!! The others were my party and Miller's 2nd Birthday Party. I've been to several parties so I know what I am talking about. It was at an indoor park called Monkey Business. I played dress-up and became a Luau Santa and went on lots of slides and climbed and climbed and most of all shrieked with joy! What a good time. Thanks for the invite Miller! I look forward to returning the hospitality.

22 Months New- January 6, 2009

First let me say- HAPPY NEW YEAR!! This is the third year of Addyson. I will have a birthday in just 2 short months. I am really a big girl now. Here is a picture of me in my pretty pink toddler coat!! Stay warm and cuddle up with someone you love!
