13.1- Sunday, November 1, 2009

Mommy ran in a 13.1 on Sunday. Daddy and I went to find her and watch her cross the finish line. I look forward to running with her when my legs are longer... until then, I'll be a bystander who watches and plays at the park nearby!! I'll say this... it was a beautiful day for park play... Mommy says for running too!

All Treats... No Tricks!!-- Halloween 2009

I got to do my first Trick or Treating this year!! It was so fun. I followed a group of big kids down the street as they knocked on our neighbors' doors. I really wanted to go into everyone's house, but Mommy said we had other people to visit and show my Princess costume to. We went to about 15 houses. Two of them had scary monsters answer the door- Mommy carried me to the next few after those. Don't worry, I had my magic wand with me and I blasted away my fears.

The very best part was that after we went to do our Trick or Treating - kids came to my house to do their Trick or Treating!! I got so excited when the door bell rang... so excited that I openned the door and held up my hands full of candy calling out to all the children, "MORE, MORE, MORE." My favorite candy is lollipops!! YUMMY!! HAPPY HALLOWEEN!

Happy Halloween Party! Friday, October 30, 2009

A big thank you to Kate and Kate Mommy for co-hostessing our 2nd Annual Halloween Party! We had many, many friends come to play. There were 11 mommies and 12 kids from little babies like Ruby Kate and Rita Marie to Big boys like Miller and Aaron and Aiden. Thanks for everyone for coming and wearing their adorable costumes. We had 2 firemen, a doggie, a skunk, an alligator, a lady bug, two ballerinas, and of course Dorothy and Sleeping Beauty hostessed. Darth Vader came and a little dragon too and dracula.

We gave goodie bags with balls and monster teeth- see me smiling so big in mine they were hard to keep in my mouth! Such a fun day! Thanks so much friends and mommies!!

Trunk or Treat- Sunday October 25, 2009

Thanks to all the Mommy to Mommy's for hosting a Trunk or Treat party for me to get all dressed up like my dolly. I think Halloween is super fun. I wore a pretty dress, matching purse, shoes, and gloves. Dolly and I were twins. What a fun time. I even got to eat three M&Ms when I got home!! (That is three pieces not three packages). During the party, I ate 6 Lollipops. I didn't eat all of them- I just started licking them and then at the next trunk that mommy had packed a whole new flavor that I wanted to try so I passed Mommy my old one. Don't worry, we didn't waste them... Daddy ate the rest!! Yummy!!

Celina Pumpkin Patch- October 18, 2009

Mommy brought me a bubble so I could look like baby. My baby that I sleep with is named Sleeping Beauty, Princess Aurora, Briar Rose- so I call her Baby. So I dressed like her for all of Halloween season. Mommy, daddy and I went to the Celina Pumpkin Patch. I fed the animals and then rode a hay truck and then I rode the slide, then I ate a hot dog... Mommy says we will go to the pumpkin patch again soon, but the hot dog is a once a year activity!

Great Wolf Lodge- October 7-8

I had a great time with Emma, Emma Mommy and Miss Aunt Sarah at the Great Wolf Lodge. It was my first ever slumber party. Emma and I shared bunk beds. I got the bottom bunk and she took the top. I woke up 5 times in the night looking for her. I only seemed to wake up the grown-ups though. Elizabeth slept right through my search. We played and played together riding the slides and splashing in the lazy river. I totally can't wait to go again!! I recommend it to kids big and small!!

Something New!!

Mommy and I do crafts now. We have made some Halloween pumpkins and have so enjoyed making various depictions of Abby Caddaby. See the latest Abby we made yesterday!! I love this special time with my Mommy!!
