Walt Disney World- Scarlett's First Trip- May 20, 2011

So I took Scarlett to the Magic kingdom and introduced her around. She slept through most of her introductions. Guess I'll just have to take her again really soon! Afterall, I'm a great tour guide. This was my 5th trip to Walt Disney World. I wore my Rapunzel dress and Scarlett wore Minnie Mouse. I even rode Roller Coasters this time: Big Thunder and Splash Mountains! They were new and a little scary. Not sure if I will do them next trip or not! I do love the teacups though!

Scarlett was sacked out when we walked in the park. It is a Dougherty Daughter tradition as I did the same thing. I went when the first time when I was 6 months old. Baby Scarlett was 7 months old this trip. We got some classic family favorites: all infront of the castle, Dougherty baby with Mickey's nose, Dougherty baby with White Rabbit's glasses and Dougherty baby sleeping in her stroller! ;-) Scroll back to see those same shots of me!

FL- May 12-21, 2011

We went to see Nanny and Pop for a Nash family reunion. We met cousins I never knew we had. I just love going to the beach. It was Baby Scarlett's first trip. I found lots of seashells! Baby Scarlett didn't get in the sand or water much. She has very special baby skin.

We walked to a favorite ice cream shop conveninetly located at the end of Nanny and Pop's street. I got the cutest and yummiest Dora Ice Cream Pop!

Scarlett flew even a kite with Daddy. We also swam in Nanny and Pop's Pool. The very coolest part was seeing the Space Shuttle Launch from the beach! WOW! It was the second to the last launch ever.

Wow! Catching Up! August 24, 2011

Um, so we've had a busy 6 months! Baby Scarlett is now 10 months old. She still wakes up in the night and sleeps with Mommy. Whoops. That was never the plan... guess being a mommy is all about flexibility?

So Scarlett's update- She sat up in March at 5 months and crawled in April at 6 months and pulling up in May at 7 months. She got two teeth in May while visiting Nanny and Pop in FL. She took her first step on Saturday, August 6 and is now taking three steps on her own and walking across the room holding just one of Mommy or Daddy's hands. I still love her very much and am excited to share SOME of my toys with her.

So my update- Well, I'm "almost 5". Mommy says I am actually just almost 4 and a half. I prefer saying almost 5. Hehe. I started PreK at Parish Episcopal School yesterday and it was so fun. I went to my 23rd state this summer... ALASKA on the Mickey Boat.

My New Excersaucer- January 29, 2011

Now that I am almost 4 months new I am so very strong and can enjoy playing in the Excersaucer. Addyson really enjoys playing with me in the Excersaucer and bringing me my train. She is so fun to play with and good at entertaining me. I love you Big Sister Addyson.

My Friends are Cold- January 28, 2011

I enjoy taking good care of my friends. This has been a very cold winter in Dallas so I work hard at being their mommy and keeping them all tucked in tightly. Tonight I even shared my snack with them!
